Titles may vary by setting and include
- Staff nurse
- Charge nurse
- Case manager
- Care Coordinator
- Research nurse
- Quality assurance nurse
- Infection control nurse
Skills and abilities that are essential to being a successful
Registered Nurse include:
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Focused concentration when performing a task
- Strong mastery of scientific and quantitative knowledge and
the ability to work well with others .
Nurses must also be able to manage sustained levels of stress.
